Today we warmed up with vocabulary.  We shared our answers to the Responde Latine in pairs and then with the class.  We wrote exercise 2d at our desk and on the board.  We practiced changing singular to plural.  We talked about the quiz on Monday and how to study for it.

Homework: Study for Quiz 2 on Monday

We listened to the story today and answered questions orally.  We handed in the homework sentences.  We translated Exercise 2c and talked about translation challenges.  We practiced vocabulary and played a game. 

The homework is Responde Latine from Chapter 2, Latin & English.  Challenge is to include as much Latin in our answers as possible.

We had a Quiz on Chapter 1 today and the homework is to make a vocabulary list for Chapter 2.

We have had a good first week getting to know the sound of Latin and beginning our story.  On Monday we will have our first quiz: On Chapter 1.

Students should be able to translate sentences and identify vocabulary words out of context.
